2026 ITP Breakfast Meeting

Back for its third year, the ITPANZ ITP Breakfast Meeting returns to bring together haematologists, nurses, researchers, allied health professionals and clinical leaders for a focused morning exploring the latest developments in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP). Drawing on expert perspectives and real-world clinical experience, this year’s program will examine some of the most important challenges and opportunities shaping ITP care today.
This year’s meeting will feature an exceptional all-women faculty, showcasing leading experts from across Australia and New Zealand who are helping to shape the future of ITP care. Topics include the evolving role of combination therapies, the unique considerations of ITP in older adults, including both newly diagnosed and long-term patients, practical approaches to incorporating quality of life into routine clinical consultations and strategies for optimising first-line treatment decisions from the outset.
